Q: How can I apply for a loan?
A: Making your loan request is easy at the Hometown Group. There are several options. You can contact 1 of our 10 locations by phone, apply in person, or apply online at a time that is convenient for you. In a matter of minutes, we will have all the information we need to process your application and get you an answer in less than 1 hour.
Q: How long does it take to process my loan application?
A: We can complete your application in a matter of minutes and get you an answer within the hour.
Q: Once my loan is approved, how long does it take to get my check?
A: If you are approved by 3 p.m., you can have your check that same day. Otherwise, you can close your loan and receive the check on the next business day.
Q: Can I sign my loan papers online?
A: No. All our loan closings are done at your servicing branch location.
Q: How long does the loan closing take?
A: We understand that your time is valuable. Therefore, we try to get the paperwork completed and hand you a check in 15 minutes or less. However we will give you as much time as needed, because we want to make sure all your questions are answered and you fully understand the terms of your new loan.
Q: If I apply online, when will I know if my loan is approved?
A: Online applications are processed just as quickly as applications submitted in person or by phone – in one hour or less. Please keep in mind that your loan request will only be processed during normal business hours. If you apply after hours or on the weekend, your application will be processed immediately the next business day.
